Food directly affects our second brain or simply put, our gut as it is commonly known. Our stomach is usually the first to experience reactions from our emotions their consistency. What we eat is ultimately how we feel about ourselves and the world around us. One of the cornerstones needed to maintain the balance of Serotonin and Dopamine, two of our "feel-good hormones", the hormones which amplify and spark the feeling of happiness and contentment, is the well-being of our gut.
