In today's Thinking Aloud, Kevin Borras is in Tokyo for the ITS World Congress. He speaks to IBM about connected vehicles, to Ertico about the latest on the Ecall project, hears from Vitronic, Iteris and Esri and about an exciting idea from Japan. Meanwhile Paul Hutton presses the buttons in London and brings you news about the latest Thinking Highways documentary and about two forthcoming shows in the Middle East, in the IRF meeting in Riyadh in November and December's Gulf Traffic show, where Thinking Highways will be presenting daily TV news shows. There's also bad weather hitting Tokyo so the congress will be shut tomorrow morning, but we'll have another Thinking Aloud, even if Kevin has to interview people in their hotels! These shows are sponsored by Cubic Transportation Systems and Vitronic. As always, we thank them for their support.
