Alex Villanueva is a long time reformer and activist. He also happens to be a long time deputy who is running for Los Angeles County Sheriff. Alex holds a Doctorate in Public Administration. His dissertation is on the impact of diversity on law enforcement leadership. Alex discusses police reform, fixing corruption, race bias in the department- and how we tackle these problems from inside the law enforcement agencies.
