A well-known philanthropist who has changed the lives of millions through the Sankurathri Foundation established in India and Canada. Throughout his journey of more than 3 decades in India, Dr. Chandra has been helping and uplifting the destitute and downtrodden section of the society in education and healthcare. It wouldn’t be surprising to mention how Dr. Chandra paved the way for humanitarian causes with a lot of sacrifice behind the canvas; losing his family in the 1985 air India flight bombing, and then moving out from Canada to India to begin a new journey. Congratulations to Dr. Chandra as CNN has honored him with the CNN Hero award and awards for his outstanding work.
