Choosing ungodly leaders can result in God’s retribution and the experience of divine justice in this world. Even though God has been removed from the narrative of daily life, a peek behind the curtain may reveal that the events of our time are the working of his justice to save us from ourselves. While we may experience the consequences of cultural and national sin in this world, we were given a savior before we knew we needed one and it is on Him we are called to depend and from Him we ask for relief.
