This week on the Takedown we sat down with current EFC Bantamweight champion Demarte "The Wolf" Pena and Themba "The Answer" Gorimbo. We chat about Demarte's experience on The Fighter Season 1, his favorite moments form the show and of course his title defense against long time rival Irshaad "The White Tiger" Sayed. Demarte also clears the air surrounding his retirement. Themba sheds new light to the sport of MMA and takes us behind the scenes of a "Fighter's" life from money, lifestyle, injuries etc. We also touch on Demarte and Themba's new gym based in Kyalami called Ultimate MMA Fitness, Demarte and Themba are both head coaches at the gym and give us some insight into the world of coaching. apologies for the quality as one of our microphones decided to not work on the day.
