The big idea of this week's sermon from Colossians 1:15-23 is that Jesus, the Son of God, is supreme over all. When we try to have anything in addition to Jesus, we lose the Jesus of the Bible, the one who created and upholds the universe, because anything added to Jesus is a subtraction from his supremacy as very God of very God.
