Last week, in our series “Advent Songs” we said that some truths are so glorious that prose is inadequate; our hearts demand that we sing. This week we take up the account of Zechariah in Luke chapter 1. There, the aged priest encounters one such truth. It was perhaps the last thing he might have expected but it left him singing.
