Today I spoke with Christina de Leon, the Associate Curator of Contemporary Latino Design at the Cooper Hewitt. She was gracious enough to be real with me and share her experience during this government shutdown. We spoke about the irony of museums, which are institutions designed to educate the public about other cultures, being shut down by a government that wants to literally wall off a country with a culture that provides so much influence. We also got to reminisce a bit about how we met and bonded over our Latino roots. This is my first Riff with a guest so let’s jump in- @xtina_de_leon --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/in-good-company/support
