This series of sermons is about the only one, God, who satisfies the qualities of an eternal ruler. As the One who reigns, God alone possesses the sovereignty, power, and authority to control everything, influence all of creation, and through His love is worthy to be called God. As Creator, God is over all that is and ever will be. He has the right as Creator to control, rule, and reign over His creation. His decisions are not called into question by anyone. As Job found out when questioning God about His actions, God asked, ““Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation? Tell me, if you understand. Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know! Who stretched a measuring line across it? On what were its footings set, or who laid its cornerstone (Job 38:4-6)? In part on of this series we will explore 1. Gods Reign as Universal. 2. God’s Reign As Our Assurance and Security and 3. God’s Reign As Cause for Fear Scripture we will be using includes: Psalm 96:9,10; 1st Kings chapters 18 and 19; Psalm 96: 11-13; Hebrews 10:31.
