Today we are going to tell a story about a racing legend and inventor that greatly influenced the cars we drive today. This famously forgotten race car driver got his start in 1905 and raced until 1920. back when racing meant loose safety regulations and men had to drive corners held on by the sheer weight of there balls. Sometimes they would travel over 100MPH on tires no thicker than a dollar bill. This is the story of such a driver and his tragic life that left him penniless and forgotten so many years later.
