The year is 2021 and social media is not going anywhere. Thanks to social media people are able to connect with like minded individuals and we are able to learn about other cultures and communities. The LGBTQIA community is here and they are here to stay. In the media lately there has been a lot of backlash for things that have been said against the LGBTQIA community. In the Olympics there is a weight lifter named Laurel Hubbard who just wants to exist and do what she is passionate about. Black children have been told they are not Black if they do not look, talk, or act a certain way. Those children are discredited for being who they are and that is not okay. It is time to update the way you think and get in line with the new normal. Do not be like those people who are stuck in the past and still celebrate the little small battles that confederates won during the civil war. We must know better, do better and be better to everyone.
