Welcome to another Sophie Meadows mysteries, our very own mystery sleuth, who lives in the cozy village of sleep cove. And tonight we are we’re returning to the little seaside village of Sleep Cove in autumn, where golden leaves rustle along the lanes and glowing pumpkins welcome trick-or-treaters to cosy cottage doorsteps. But beneath the Halloween excitement, whispers of hidden treasure and strange sounds from an old smugglers’ cave are spreading through the village. For retired schoolteacher Sophie Meadows, an evening of handing out sweets takes an unexpected turn when a worried visitor arrives at her door. With her sharp wits and a flask of hot chocolate, Sophie sets out to discover whether there’s more to these spooky tales than an overactive imagination.
