The last man on Earth sat in a room, there was a knock on the door. The script was subsequently used on "X Minus One" on May 22, 1955. The "X Minus One" program was rebroadcast on "Monitor" during July, 1974. + This story starts with the wonderful words " The last man on earth sat alone in a room. There was a knock on the door".
