In scripture there are dozens of kingdoms mentioned. From the United Kingdom to the Divided Kingdom the kingdom of Egypt to the Persian, Babylonian, and Grecian kingdoms, all were destined to fall because of their self reliance. This sermon describes the Kingdoms of God, Christ, and Heaven and how they are eternal and all one. The spiritual nature of the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Christ, and the Kingdom of Heaven make them eternal and the King of these Biblically named Kingdoms is eternal Himself which makes the changing of leadership unnecessary and impossible. In this sermon we will explore the reason why Matthew alone described the Kingdom of God as The Kingdom of Heaven. Keeping in mind that Father, Son, and Spirit are one we will explore why the Kingdoms of God, Heaven, and Christ are descriptive of the work of God, the work of Christ and the reign of Yahweh over the realm of heaven. There is one other realm or rule we must consider and that is the limited rule Satan has on the earth. Satan’s rule is not open and transparent; Satan rules with deception, division, diversion, and discouragement. We will examine Jesus requirements for entrance into the kingdom from John 3:3-5. “Jesus answered and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Nicodemus *said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born, can he?” 5 Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
