Many people want to try an intermittent fasting (IF) lifestyle, but few know how to stick with it through the adaptation phase so they can get to the prize on the other side. In this episode, I set your expectations for the first month of following an IF lifestyle, and I give you three different options on how to select an eating window. It's important to view the adaptation phase as just that - a time for your body to adapt to this new way of eating (or not eating). This is not a time to worry about losing weight or changing what you eat. Once you've invested a month of your body and mind into the adaptation process, your body begins to utilize stored fat for fuel and the fat-burning commences!
