Chapter 12 begins a series of visions which take a deeper look into the evil opposition of God’s witnesses. The dragon is introduced as the devil and Satan, that ancient serpent from the garden, who furiously pursues the followers of Jesus. Through Jesus’ death, resurrection and ascension the devil’s been dethroned and he’s raging in revenge.
