A native of Chicago, Modi G is a ‘cancer’ who moves off feelings, emotions, and intellect. She loves hard and the result of that type of love put her into a deep depression. Depression can be a crippling disease, but Modi was and still is resilient and refuses to let it get the best of her. Modi is an Author, blogger, and writer for men and women of all ages. She blogs about controversial topics based on love, life, and relationships. A graduate of Fisk University, Modi fell in love with literature as she earned her degree in English. Modi’s passion for writing keeps her depression and anxiety at bay. Modi G talks to students and audiences about her book with a focus on self-esteem, healthy relationships, and eliminating the stigma of seeking help for mental health challenges.
