Throwing Light

Religion & Spirituality

I hadn't listened to this since I recorded it last October. It was emotional, listening back to it while editing. There are things we forget with time. The pain that was so acute on a particular moment in history melts away and all we have is a vague memory that it meant something. The stories we tell echo where we are in our lives. This time last year, I was fighting carpenter bees and learning to trust myself. HONORABLE MENTIONS:Black Moms Blog on Instagram (not mentioned in this episode, but a great resource)Hello Bello (my favorite diaper company)Thank you for listening! If you liked this episode, I would be very appreciative in you left a review on Apple Podcasts. Throwing Light is for people who believe in the restoration and healing of the world and who aren't hung up on outdated dogma that seeks to dictate what that's supposed to look like. I'm interested in connecting with people who are actively working toward healing and restoration for themselves and the world. My hope is that engaging with this podcast will help you on your healing journey and motivate you to delve even deeper into the beautiful work you are already doing in the world. If you resonate with my work and want to stay connected, be sure to follow me on Instagram, or subscribe to Glow Mail (my semi-regular love letter via email).
