Santiago Velazquez (@Santi_E14) rounds out our 4th season with "Gimix" by The Avalanches paired with a beachy and sunny Kanaha pale ale from Kona Brewing. A big theme for us this year was nostalgia and the sample-heavy "Gimix" layers music from the 1960s through the 1990s, including a surprising mix of Madonna's "Holiday" with Bob Dylan's "Like a Rolling Stone." It is a fun adventure through 40 years of top 40 hits while sipping on an uncomplicated yet refreshing pale ale.
