Episode Summary In the city of Austin, Texas, between December 1884 and December 1885, seven women and one man were murdered, and an additional six women and two men were injured. The victims were all attacked in their beds with an axe, and there were other similarities between many of the murders, leading some to believe that they were the work of America's first serial killer. We introduce this brand new case and outline the details of these unsolved murders.
