This Sunday we looked at what Temptation, and how at a very basic level it’s about loyalty. How when we choose to give into temptation we are choosing something over choosing God. We like Jesus are tempted to feed our appetites; get noticed; have everything the world can give us. We’re reminded by Jesus’ rebuff that we’re to hunger after God alone; that we are already ‘noticed’ by God which is all that really matters; and we must worship the creator, not the created things.
