Matt, Matthias, Jake and Grant are back for another edition of the Wide Right and Natty Litecast. The guys recap what was an eventful game for the Cyclones on Saturday as Iowa State defeated TCU 42-24.Brock Purdy once again played lights out leading Iowa State all afternoon, but the offensive line was another big reason. Josh Knipfel and Bryce Meeker were recognized by Pro Football Focus and placed on their national team of the week. Matthias wants to warn everyone once again to take PFF grades lightly. Thought the improvement from Bryce Meeker was a great sign for the offensive line.West Virginia is not the high powered team that we have been used to seeing in years past. The Oklahoma transfer Austin Kendall is now in at quarterback and has been a bit turnover prone so far this season. This may be another opportunity for the Cyclone defense to get the turnover belt out.To wrap up the show, Grant talks about being intimidated by Von Miller and Ndamukong Suh. Von Miller did it on purpose and Suh just used his skill to make a plan. This story will be one for Cyclone fans to enjoy. As always thank you to our sponsor Es Tas Bar and Grill.
