The Oxford Language dictionary describes lacuna, a noun, as “an unfilled space, an interval, a gap.” The exhibition called, LACUNA, at the Kennedy Museum of Art, touches on that same spirit, but from a very different direction. Artists Mateo Galvano and C. David Russell, explain why in this episode of Talking Studio. Ohio Today wrote about LACUNA when it first launched in June of 2019 at the New Currents Exhibition in Santa Fe, New Mexico. It can be found online here: https://ohiotoday.org/lacuna. LACUNA is showing at the Kennedy Museum of Art at Ohio University in Athens until March 6, 202. Gallery hours can be found online here https://www.ohio.edu/museum/visit.
