Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Peter Lawford, Joey Bishop Jack Kennedy were a tight pack for sure. Grace Kelly as she ascended the stairs to leave the boys to their endless chatter remarked, “you are all just like a pack of rats.” Taking the quip more as a compliment than an insult term found traction especially amongst Frank and Dean. Unknowingly, the future Princess Grace of Monaco had Christened the Rat Pack.
