This episode and the following episode of the PeacebyPeace podcast are special editions: They feature a two-part podcast that discusses challenges and opportunities for one particular challenge in stabilization and peacebuilding: The process of planning a transition from peacekeeping to peacebuilding. This first episode features four senior policymakers: Roselyn Akombe, who co-chairs the UN Transitions Project; Franck Bousquet, the senior director of the World Bank’s Fragility, Conflict, & Violence Group; Hilde Hardeman, who heads the Foreign Policy Instruments Service of the European Commission; and Rüdiger König, the director general for Crisis Prevention, Stabilization, Post-Conflict Peacebuilding and Humanitarian Assistance in the German Federal Foreign Office.
