It may be triggering for some listeners - and healing for others.— A self proclaimed “Renaissance Woman,” Van Nguyen is the Co-Organizer and Community Director of the PNW Biohackers Collective. Van has a B.S. in Nursing from West Coast University and a background in Marketing and Public Relations for firms in Beverly Hills, CA. She enjoys connecting and coaching other young women, especially those who are facing obstacles—as she herself is no stranger to physical, mental or emotional challenges. Growing up in a Vietnamese family, there were expectations for Van to follow the traditional role of a Vietnamese woman. But when Van ventured beyond the limits of these expectations, she experienced betrayal and was even disowned by her family. In this episode, Van describes the heartache of these, and other, experiences—and what propelled her to push forward and move through the pain, into what she describes as her “Revival”. —To connect with Van— Instagram @vanrevival Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Biohackers Collective —To connect with Markie and other survivors— Join the Project Markie Facebook group Instagram @MarkieWilliams Facebook @MarkieWilliamsFitness LinkedIn —Subscribe & Review— Apple Podcasts Stitcher Castbox Spotify Production Credits: This show was lovingly produced by CMG. www.wearecmg.com Producer | Laura Kaye Chamberlain @laurakayecreations Executive Producer, Show Art | Mandy “The Bos” @mandythebos Music | "Dreamy Piano" by cleanmindsounds (Envato Elements) Subscribe now to get a new episode of Project Markie on "Markie Mondays."
