Teams are diving deeper into sabermetrics and the science of baseball in order to learn more about their performance, or to get an advantage over their opponent. Our guest today is someone who helps teams process and understand that type of data! Charlie Young is a University of Illinois student, the U of I Director of Analytics, and he will start with the Houston Astros this summer as their Quantitative Developer! We dive deeper into what he was able to accomplish working with the U of I baseball team, and how the data he's able to analyze has the ability to help a team going forward. Thanks for listening!
