She Transformed With Every Chapter | Global Startups at 10
Leisure
Beatriz Zanatelli came through the Global Startups Startup Visa program during one of the most transitional years in the organization's history. Global Startups had just become the first and only Latin American based community accepted into the program, and Bea's company was among the first to benefit from that milestone. What set Bea apart from the beginning was not just the quality of what she was building alongside her sister. It was her instinct to show up for others without being asked. Every time Global Startups founder and CEO Miryam Lazarte faced a challenge, Bea would appear with the same question: how can I help? And she always followed through. In the years since, Bea closed a company, launched new initiatives, joined programs across the ecosystem, supported colleagues, and built Smart Goose Academy into an organization with real momentum and strong market positioning. She moved through more entrepreneurial chapters in a short period than most founders experience in a decade. Through all of it she remained curious, humble, and genuinely generous with her time and knowledge. Her story is not about a straight line from program to success. It is about what happens when a founder transforms, almost chameleon-like, into whatever each new chapter requires, while never losing the instinct to bring others along. As Global Startups celebrates its 10th anniversary this September, this video is part of a series honoring the founders, partners, and community members who built something real over the last decade. Global Startups is also hosting a week of expert-led masterclasses at its Toronto HQ, free to attend and open to founders and operators at every stage.
