This is Season 2, Episode 34 for August 23, 2021, and our feature topic today is Planning for Vacation. For today's podcast, we know that school is starting back up, and there are things you need to do to plan for school. So, we thought, we'll also tie that together and start planning for vacation at the same time! Here's the rundown of what we talked about: Updates from last week:The Carousel at Pixar Pier is no longer called King Triton’s Carousel, it is now called “Jessie’s Critter Carousel”. Here are some pictures from my friend Stephanie for you to see.A couple of weeks back I asked for your favorite Disney shows in the Facebook Group. By far the consensus is that Festival of the Lion King is the favorite show, but other votes are for Happily Ever After and Fantasmic!Cheddar from the Big CheeseMike: Twinkling lights, festive décor, and magical celebrations will fill Magic Kingdom Park during “Disney Very Merriest After Hours.” The event will take place on 24 select nights Nov. 8 through Dec. 21 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. The party will include the Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks as well as the Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade! That’s right, a full parade is coming back to Walt Disney World!Brenda: Boma - Flavors of Africa reopened this past Friday, August 20th!Sophie: Coming to Epcot in mid-September: The long-awaited opening of the Space 220 Restaurant over by Mission:SPACE!Brenda: This is just a rumor, but there is some talk that the Candlelight Processional may be back this year! It would be part of the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays, which begins on November 26 and runs through December 30!Sophie: Lastly, Beauty and the Beast - Live on Stage has now reopened at Hollywood Studios!Connect with us!
