On The Oche

Miscellaneous

Welcome to the start of one of the busiest week's in On The Oche's history. In this episode, Jarleth Eaton and Jack "Gobby" Garwood start by looking at all the latest developments in the Premier League. They look back at an amazing night of action in Dublin, which saw a nine darter from Michael Smith, an incredible walk on from the challenger Willie O'Connor, and wins for Smith, Nathan Aspinall, Gary Anderson, Michael van Gerwen and Gerwyn Price. The boys then preview week 5 in Exeter, and hear from the latest challenger in "Cool Hand" Luke Humphries, ahead of his match v Gary Anderson. After this, Jar and Jack review a brilliant debut Euro Tour event in Belgium. As well as another fantastic win for Gerwyn Price, the runs for Michael Smith and Peter Wright get a look at, plus Jar is keen to talk about the Dutch ace Dirk van Duijvenbode, and asks Jack just how far he can go this year. Gobby then rounds up all the weekend's Development Tour action, before Jar catches up with Ted Evetts, last year's Dev Tour order of merit winner, "SuperTed" Ted Evetts, ahead of the 2020 Ladbrokes UK Open. The voice of PDC-TV darts, Dan Darts Dawson, then joins Jar to discuss the upcoming tournament in Minehead, before the boys close the show by giving their ties of the opening afternoon, their value tips, and ultimately who will win the first ranking TV tournament of the 2020 season. Thanks as always for listening, and remember, we've got four more episodes for you throughout the week, from both Exeter and Minehead!
