Enjoy the laughs, side comments, and cell phone interruptions as you listen in to this class. this is the first day of our study on prayer. we cover the "theology of prayer" or why we pray. We discuss the nature/attributes of God and a good portion of the class is devoted to two fundamental truths of prayer that are assumed before we ever pray: 1. God is sovereign and is in control of all things 2. Humans are morally responsible creatures. resolving these two seemingly paradoxical truths is critical to praying properly and healthily.
