Adnan Othman connected with his audience by playing in Major chords, which was how a lot of popular Western music was played at the time, but was able to also fulfill the desire of those who wanted to hear music sung in their own language! Wildly popular in Malaysia and Indonesia during the 60's and 70's, Adnan Othman continues to play music today for special events... but dedicates most of his time to his other passion... painting!
