Story District Presents

Arts

Andrea Jones goes to great lengths to preserve her precarious reputation at the school where she teaches. It's touch and go. Listen to find out what happens, then join host Amy Saidman for a chat with Andrea after the story. Andrea Jones told her first story during a showcase at the end of Story District's five-week Storytelling 101 course. She then performed it at the Capital Fringe Festival in a show directed by Stephanie Garibaldi and Mick McVey. Since then, she's had a short movie made based on the story by the Grown web series team for Real 2 Reel, Story District's partnership with DC Shorts, and told it as part of the Atlas Intersections Festival for Story District's "Uncommon Sense" featuring stories about the five senses (guess which sense Andrea did). Check out Peak Experience Lab and Andrea's creative work with museums and experiential learning. Story District Presents is a podcast for people who love live storytelling.
