McLemore has worked alongside Miller Value Partners founder Bill Miller on opportunity equity for some two decades, and is expected to take over the Miller Opportunity Trust following his retirement. McLemore is also the founder, majority owner and chief investment officer of Patient Capital Management, an investment adviser that serves institutional clients in cooperation with Miller Value Partners, which has some $281 million in assets under management.
