Your Global Voice -- Voices of Women for March 16 features Deborah Debora Taylor with host, Denise Joy Thompson.Debora shares her experience as a young child growing up with a single mother in the housing projects of Milwaukee, WI. Debora was given an opportunity to go to a private school and she took full advantage of her education. Debora also discusses "inequality" of gender opportunities in the work place. Debora used her faith and her abilities to create a life she wanted and to further not only her and her children's lives, but the lives of thousands she has worked with through her career with Headstart, her ministry and with her business. Debora D. Taylor, the founder & President of Taylor-Made International Institute has been an inspiring and integral leader in the human service field for over 25 years. During this time, people from all walks of life have sought her expertise in the areas of women's issues, marriage and family enrichment, youth development, early childhood education, and responsible fatherhood. For her efforts, her enthusiasm, and her great successes, Debora has been recognized locally and nationally. Most recently, Mrs. Taylor was named a 2012 National Presidential Volunteer Awardee and was chosen to be a part of the National Leadership Practitioners Group.
