After missing last week's show, we play catch-up on the government lockdown files. Generally, health authorities and politicians across the country are increasing Covid restrictions. At the same time, governments are using delay tactics in court, claiming they need multiple months to produce the evidence that might justify their Charter-violating laws, policies and health orders, and telling judges they need more time. After 13 months, this is no excuse. They should have been ready with their "science-based” evidence a long time ago, as soon as the violations of Charter freedoms began in March of 2020.Globe and Mail, Apr 17, 2021: After outcry, Ontario backtracks on police powers to conduct random COVID-19 stopsRebel News, Apr 20, 2021: Thirteen months of “temporary” police powers: John Carpay on Charter rights and scientific evidenceJustice Centre News Release, Apr 16, 2021: Justice Centre successfully defends Ontario church against government attempt to lock its doorsJustice Centre News Release, Apr 16, 2021: Court permits Government to avoid producing Dr. Hinshaw’s evidence on lockdowns at May 3 trial of Pastor James CoatesLink sent by the Nova Scotia Health Minister's "Communications Team" to John Carpay, replying to his request for the scientific evidence supporting their notion that Covid can be spread by asymptomatic peopleJohn Carpay in The Western Standard, Apr 21, 2021: The Kenney government is terrified of a trial with medical and scientific evidenceJohn Carpay in The Post Millennial, Apr 19, 2021: Canadians deserve to see the science behind COVID lockdownsJohn Carpay in The Western Standard, Apr 8, 2021: Dr. Hinshaw does more harm than good to public healthJohn Carpay in The Post Millennial, Apr 8, 2021: Dr. Bonnie Henry's lockdown is killing my motherJustice Centre News Release, Apr 19, 2021: Bill 66: Repeal of unconstitutional Bill 10 but expansion of Chief Medical Officer powersJohn Carpay in The Post Millennial, Apr 19, 2021: Canadians deserve to see the science behind COVID lockdownsPoem Hunter: Martin Niemöller, First They Came For The JewsTheme Music "Carpay Diem" by Dave StevensSupport the show (https://www.jccf.ca/donate/)
