In this episode… Football camps give athletes the avenue they need to hone their skills in football and allows them to determine if this is really the sport that they want to play. Players are exposed to the demands and rigors of the sport, and they are able to figure out which aspects of their play they need to improve on. According to Byron Wiliams, there is more to football than just physical prowess. It requires discipline and hardwork to develop the techniques and skills necessary for players to make it to the big leagues. And so he has made it his mission to help young athletes improve their skill by showing them how it’s played and how to play it well. Join Dr. Chad Stephens on this episode of the Dr. Stephens Speaks Show where he interviews retired NFL player Byron Williams about the football bootcamp he runs and why he has decided to mentor young athletes. They also talk about the things an athlete needs to develop to turn pro, his thoughts on the CBA for players, and he also shares why he founded his nonprofit organization, the Best Wishes Foundation.
