Karen Ristevski vanished in June 2016. Her body was found 8 months later in Feb 2017 in bushland at Mount Macedon. Her husband Borce was found guilty of killing Karen and was sentenced to 9 years to serve a minimum sentence of 6 years. There was outrage, and rightly so. The sentence did not meet community standards. The Prosecution appealed the sentence and in early December 2019, the Victorian Court of Appeal re sentenced Borce to 13 years with a minimum period of 10 years. We quickly revisit the first episode to discuss the result.Your hosts:David Galbally AM QC is one of Melbourne's most respected legal authorities.
