The Damned Lookmovies is a period morality play inspired by Norse folktales about draugr, undead reanimated corpses. Director of Photography Eli Arenson uses the coastal environment with beautifully composed views of the terrain and surrounding waters. The sea appears in nearly every film frame, always reminding us of its presence. The harsh Icelandic winters function as a character, trapping the group and making them dependent on one another.
