Considering the material shown in the trailers, Heart Eyes Lookmovie is not the type of movie that audiences would have anticipated. Throughout the course of the movie, a serial murderer pursues a pair of people who get closer and closer to one another. A good mix of comedy and horrifying violence draws viewers back in, even though this romance element can be a bit much at times, especially for those who aren't expecting it. In some instances, Heart Eyes deftly parodies the romance and horror genres in truly humorous ways.
