The raga Mod Malhar was performed by Chandrashekharji at the MEG club (Bandra East) on 13th June 2011. Chandrashekharji learnt this raga from his mentor and guide Pandit Y. M. Mahale. ModMalhar- The Raga is conceptualised and delineated by Pandit Govind Narayan Natu. It is a blend of Kamod and Malhar. The Raga is documented in the book ‘Geet Samooha’ written by Pandit Natu in 1949 and republished in 2015 along with audio CD by his disciple ‘Sujandas’ Pandit Yashwant Mahale. Shri. Chandrashekharji is accompanied on the tabla by Shri. Prafulla Athalye.
