Episode 52 of the conversations between Dr. Yogita Pant and Dr. Anil Chawla discusses the deliberations that took place when Krishn visited Indraprasth in connection with the proposed Raajsooy Yagy. Krishn summed up the political situation at that point time. Krishn told that Jaraasandh had declared himself to be the emperor and had put large number of kings in prison. Yuddhishthir could not become an emperor as long as Jaraasandh was alive. Krishn told about the number of wars that they had fought against Jaraasandh and had failed to defeat him. Hearing all this Yuddhishthir was inclined to give up his dream of becoming an emperor. However, Bheem and Arjun, along with Krishn, argued for killing Jaraasandh in a one-to-one fight instead of fighting a war with his army. (Mahabharat/Sabhaaparv/ Raajsooyaarambh Parv/Chapter 14-17).

Mahabharat and Valmiki Ramayan are the two fundamental foundation epics of Hinduism. Mahabharat teaches one about every aspect of life. The struggle in the epic is the clash between two different life-values. Dwaipaayan Krishn and Vaasudev Krishn put in relentless and continuous efforts to establish and strengthen the same fundamental values and ideals for which Ram fought the war against Raavan. By learning and understanding this story and by adopting the learnings into our behaviour we can make our life happy and rich.
