Episode 56 of the conversations between Dr. Yogita Pant and Dr. Anil Chawla discusses the start of preparations for Raajsooy yagy. The episode begins with a discussion on the concept of Raajssoy yagy and of Bharatvarsh. Arjun offered to go to north direction for winning over the kingdoms and kings located there. Maharshi Dwaipaayan Krishn and other rishis present were very pleased with the proposal. Maharshi directed that Arjun should go towards north, Bheem should go towards east while Sahdev should go towards the south and Nakul should go in the western direction. As per the directions of Maharshi, four brothers proceeded in the four directions. Arjun conquered the kingdoms of north, while Bheem was victorious in the east. Mahabharat and Valmiki Ramayan are the two fundamental foundation epics of Hinduism. Mahabharat teaches one about every aspect of life. The struggle in the epic is the clash between two different life-values. Dwaipaayan Krishn and Vaasudev Krishn put in relentless and continuous efforts to establish and strengthen the same fundamental values and ideals for which Ram fought the war against Raavan. By learning and understanding this story and by adopting the learnings into our behaviour we can make our life happy and rich.
