Arts
In this week's episode, Babs sits down with Chloe Raub, Head of Archives and Special Collections at Newcomb Institute, to talk about the Art+Feminism events taking place on March 6th and 11th. Art+Feminism is a do-it-yourself and do-it-with-others campaign to improve coverage of cis and trans women, non-binary folks, feminism and the arts on Wikipedia. Howard-Tilton Memorial Library and Newcomb Institute of Tulane University will host two events for this year's A+F: a new-to-Wikipedia editors' training session on March 6th, 11 am to 12 pm; and an edit-a-thon on March 11th, 11 am to 1 pm. Both events will be held in H-TML Room 308. There will be free pizza, too! Computers are provided but feel free to bring a laptop along with your ideas for articles. Originally aired on Monday, March 2nd, 2020.
