LGBTQIA+ is a topic that is sensitive in the Middle East, but we believe it is time to break the taboo and the stereotypes that come with it. People who identify as part of the community live among us, whether it's your doctor, your teacher or your friend. Today's special guest is Sarra from Tunisia who talks about her experience being lesbian in the Middle East, her coming out story, the fear of her family finding out, stereotypes she hopes to break, and her advice to those who are not out. It is a very courageous act to just be yourself, yet alone talk about being queer in the Middle East so we applaud her for being brave and hope it inspires others and give them hope about their future. Thank you Sarra!Support the show (https://paypal.me/tahanimmd?locale.x=en_US)
