This episode is the Prologue to the novel, Shatabdi: The Next Hundred Years, Written and Narrated by Amar Vyas
Umesh Chandra, a Jain businessman, takes his six-year-old grandson Rishi on a walk through his coffee estate in Kodagu, India. As they sit on a rock, Umesh notices that the mist is fading earlier than usual, a sign of an early summer, which could harm the crops. Rishi asks about the few small cows in the area, and Umesh tells him a story about a farmer who prayed to Lord Brahma for help during a severe drought. Brahma gave the farmer a magical pot and two cows, which helped the farmer and the region prosper.
