This show helped to convince a young grade school me that teen mystery solving gangs were a thing. That somehow if you found the right group, you too to go around solving mysteries. As long as one member of the team had a van to drive, so that you could file out of the van like a team. At the time, it did not occur to me that you needed both other team members, and some actual mysteries to solve. Also, if it were that easy, there would be about 10 vans loaded down with mystery solving teens.
