Introduction This episode is focused on showcase diversity instead of simply preaching it. If years of colonial rule conditioned us to view fair-skinned individuals as superior, then we must implement the same methods leaders used to gain official independence to decolonize our mindset and standards of beauty. She also brings on regular Muslim guests to her own podcast show who are contributing to society in multiple ways. Her goal is to break down barriers and make sure listeners learn that on the inside, we are all the same. Farheen also hosts a weekly show at a local Radio station where she is based in Dallas, Texas. We are talking with a mother who describes herself as a “Noise-Maker” Farheen has a unique and direct way to express how millennial Muslims want to show up as well as practising the core values of the religion.
