Being the one who blew the whistle is not a easy thing to do. A young black N.Y.P.D Lieutenant Edwin Raymond, 34, An active-duty, is the one who blew that whistle on police corruption and publicly criticized unofficial quotas and racial discrimination in the department. The lieutenant and 11 other black and Hispanic cops took the department to federal court in 2015, claiming in a lawsuit that supervisors in the Transit Bureau pushed quotas targeting minorities and told officers to look the other way when it came to white or Asian offenders.Mr. Raymond said he hope he can use his 12 years on the force to help the" Bridge The Gap" between lawmakers and cops when it comes to reform. So come take a walk with Da Kultcha, as we explore his origins and work together through Dialogue to help bridge that gap. #DAKULTCHA #THECULTURE #UNLEARNANDRELEARN #KNOWTHELEDGE #TRUSTTHEPROCESS #WEWORKING #BIGBUSINESS #TRENDSETTERS #FORTHEPEOPLEBYTHEPEOPLE #COMFORTABLEANYWHERE #GAMECHANGER #MADWORLD #MASTERLOCK #MOTIVATION #COMFORTABLEEVERYWHERE #WEALTH #KEYSTOSUCCESS #FOODFORTHOUGHT #THINKOUTSIDETHEBOX #BLACKAF #EQUALSTANDARD #EQUALSTANDARDS #LOVEHURTSWHYHATE #BLACKAF #BLM #WAKEUP #STAYWOKE #GoodLife #PolicePolicingTheSystem
